I remember public anonymous shoutboxes being a fun feature of the older Internet. They slowly disappeared as Platforms™ grew alongside concerns about spam and security vulnerabilities. However, I want to see for myself just how bad it can actually be.
So, this is a social experiment. I want to see how long it will take before I am forced to shut this down, or else whether it is still possible to host fun jank on the public Internet. I hope for the latter.

If you choose to submit a message on this website, it will be stored in the web server's memory until newer messages replace it, or until the server is restarted. During this time, your message will be displayed publicly to all website visitors. You are not required to submit a message.
This website stores visitor IP addresses. This is used to implement rate limiting as well as to allow the server administrator (i.e. me) to debug the server. Logs are retained for a default interval in line with general server administration practices, and then they are automatically deleted.
